For those of you who are current clients, please feel free to use the portal to manage your appointments and correspondence as needed. Please remember that the portal software will not accept appointments to be canceled after 24 hours exactly. While I understand that emergencies do come up, I do ask that you be mindful of this policy. This will allow for the appointment to be filled by someone else on the waiting list. As a reminder, there is a cancelation fee for appointments not canceled before the 24 hour time period (per the therapy agreement).
If you have been a client of mine in the past, and it has been 6 months or longer since we have seen one another, you will not be able to access your portal account and will be considered a "new client." If you are interested in restarting therapy, please send me a message, and I will try to determine availability for an appointment for you. It is my thought that therapy works best when it can be maintained consistently. I do recognize that many people encounter new challenges in life that might bring them back to therapy, and I always try my best to accommodate my clients.
If you have been referred by a provider or someone else, please have the referring source send me your information (252-917-1559.) I will be in contact with you as soon as I can.
If you are trying to self-refer, I am still unable to accept new clients. It is my hope that I will be able to accept new clients in the near future.
Thank you for your patience as I try to get everyone seen and contacted in a timely manner. I do work alone and often respond to messages after hours and through text messages.
